East Coast Distributors (NSW) is a leading distributor of some of Australia's best‑known food brands. Our distribution territory extends from Bulahdelah and Gloucester to Coffs Harbour and Halfway Creek.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Depot Operative / Multi-drop Truck Salesperson, preferably based in Kempsey or the surrounding local area.

About the Role

This is a varied position combining depot operations with some relief van sales responsibilities.

Depot Duties include:

- Picking customer orders in our cold storage facility.
- Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work environment.
- Assisting with basic office duties, computer skills and answering telephone enquiries.
- Working comfortably in a freezer environment (PPE provided).
- Manual handling of items up to 20 kg.
- Providing relief cover for annual leave, sick leave and peak holiday periods.
- Delivering and selling products directly from our refrigerated vehicles.
- Servicing customers including schools, service stations, beach kiosks, general stores and other outlets with Streets Ice Cream freezers.




- Using a handheld computer to process orders and invoices.
- Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining solid customer relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Hold a current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence.
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20 kg.
- Have good communication and customer service skills.
- Be comfortable using handheld technology.Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
- Be reliable, motivated and able to work independently.
