The Role

We are seeking reliable Mango Packers to join a packing shed in Katherine, NT, supporting operations within the horticulture and fresh produce industry. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced packing environment where you will be responsible for grading, packing, and preparing mangoes for distribution. You'll work as part of a team to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

This role supports the packing and preparation of mangoes to meet quality and production standards.

- Pack and grade mangoes as directed by the Packing Shed Manager
- Label fruit trays and apply stickers to produce
- Assemble, stack, and distribute trays and boxes
- Stack pallets and prepare orders for dispatch
- Follow quality assurance and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work workplace
- Competitive pay rate of $32.18 - $33.05 per hour + penalty rates
- Short-term role for approximately 6-8 weeks
- Consistent work with approximately 40 hours per week
- Opportunity to gain experience in fruit packing and grading
