This position heads the Strategy and Implementation team within the Strategy and Prioritisation Branch, supporting the DTA’s role as a trusted adviser on digital and data reform across government.

The role operates in a complex environment shaped by policy, delivery, investment, cyber, national security, economic and geopolitical considerations. It requires attention to early signals, emerging risks and opportunities, and the conditions that affect whether choices can be made and implemented well.

This role will suit someone dynamic, adaptable and action oriented, who can work with ambiguity, bring people with them, and shape emerging areas of strategy and policy work into structured, scalable operations. It offers the chance to work at the forefront of digital and data reform and emerging technologies, where government priorities, system stewardship and agency delivery come together.
