The business is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking an active, reliable Field Agent to be our presence on the ground across our growing residential portfolio.

Position Overview

As our Field Agent, you will handle the in office side of property management — the work that happens out at properties rather than behind a desk. You will spend most of your week in the car and on the ground across Brisbane, carrying out inspections, hosting open homes and managing key handovers.

You will work closely with Chester and the property management team, acting as the professional face of Toohey Property Management to owners, tenants and contractors. It is a highly active, customer-facing role that suits someone who likes variety and finishes the day knowing exactly what they got done.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections, with clear, well-documented condition reports and photos
- Host open for inspections (OFIs) and show properties to prospective tenants
- Manage key handovers at tenant move-in and move-out




- Meet contractors on-site to quote and coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Confirm completed works meet the required standard
- Keep property records and systems accurate and up to date (e.g., TAPI, Property Tree)
- Represent Toohey Property Management professionally with owners, tenants and contractors

About You

- Current Drivers Licence and a reliable, insured car (kilometre allowance paid for work travel)
- Current QLD real estate registration certificate, or the willingness to obtain one before starting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management capabilities — able to plan and run a full day of appointments across Brisbane
- Professional presentation and a client-first approach
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident with smartphones, apps and property software

Desirable (but not essential):

- Previous experience, internship or interest in property management/real estate
- Experience with Property Tree or a similar platform
