Job Description

This is a locum doctor role for a Emergency Medicine Consultant at Tamworth in NSW. Role Info SDPR training completion required prior to commencing, please ensure locum is committed to completing the 6hrs for training required before commencing these shifts.

Doctors are paid for this time. Saturday, 5 September 2026 0700-1700 Accommodation provided and travel up to $900 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).

Tamworth Hospital is a major trauma referral centre with 282 beds and is the largest health facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolitan area. You'll work in a agile Emergency Department, collaborating with skilled teams delivering excellent care. Our busy ED includes a 14-patient capacity ETZ, 18 bed Acute area, 6 bed ESSU and a designated Paediatric Emergency zone.
