Everhomes

Brisbane

Everhomes is a registered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider supporting people with disability to live with greater choice, autonomy and dignity.

Founded on a strong commitment to human rights, Everhomes manages a growing portfolio of specialist housing across Queensland. Our work brings together participants, families, property owners, support providers and other stakeholders to create sustainable housing outcomes.

About the role

We are looking for an organised, adaptable and people-focused Business Support Officer to join our team.

This is a varied role supporting multiple areas of Everhomes, including participant enquiries, housing operations, NDIS administration, owner engagement, facilities and general business administration. You will help keep information moving, records accurate, enquiries progressing and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

You won’t be expected to know everything on day one. You will, however, need to be comfortable learning new systems, asking good questions and taking responsibility for following matters through to completion.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, communicates confidently and can manage and shift between competing priorities.

Depending on operational priorities, your responsibilities may include:

- Responding to telephone, email and online enquiries from participants, families, support providers, property owners and other stakeholders.

- Supporting the Owner Engagement team with document preparation, record management, correspondence, appointments, updating systems and administrative follow-up.

- Work within a team to manage shared inboxes and calls received through Everhomes’ 1300 number, ensuring enquiries are recorded, directed and followed through appropriately.

- Maintaining accurate records across Everhomes’ systems, including participant, property, owner and stakeholder information.

- Preparing documents, correspondence, spreadsheets, reports and other business materials.

- Providing general administrative assistance across Housing, Facilities, Finance, Owner Engagement and Business Operations.

- Identifying gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities to improve systems and administrative processes.

Let’s talk about you

You are organised, approachable and dependable. You can manage competing priorities without losing track of the details, and you understand that good administration is not simply completing tasks—it is making sure people receive accurate information and matters do not disappear into a black hole.

You will bring:

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A professional, respectful and person-centered approach.

- Care and accuracy when handling records, documents and confidential information.

- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and adapt when operational needs change.

- Initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks through to completion.

- Sound judgement, including knowing when to resolve an issue independently and when to resolve it.

- Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications,

including Outlook, Word and Excel.

- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

- A collaborative approach and willingness to support different teams across the business.

Experience in administration, disability services, housing, property, facilities, community services or the NDIS will be highly regarded, but it is not essential. The right attitude, judgement and ability to learn are just as important.

What we offer

- Meaningful work: Contribute to housing outcomes that support the autonomy and dignity of people with disability.

- A genuinely varied role: Develop experience across housing, disability services, NDIS administration, property operations, facilities and broader business support.

- Career development: Access ongoing learning and opportunities to grow as Everhomes continues to expand.

- Adaptable working arrangements: Hybrid work options that support a practical balance between work and home can be considered for the right applicant. Head office is in Jindalee Qld.

- Time off in lieu: Additional approved hours may be accrued as time off in lieu in accordance with Everhomes’ policies.

- A supportive team: Work alongside people who value initiative, collaboration, good humour and getting things done.

- Have or the Ability to Obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Card

Everhomes welcomes applications from people with disability and people with lived experience of the disability and community services sectors. Please let us know if you require any adjustments during the recruitment process.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews may be conducted before the closing date.
