The role

We are currently looking for motivatedand passionateAssistant in Nursing (AIN) Cert III and or IVto join our supportive and friendly team at ourBlacktown Facility located in the Western Sydney on aCasualbasis.

Shifts hours are available from MON-FRI. We are particularly seeking reliable candidates with the availability and flexibility to work weekdays as required for our available shifts

The Role

As anAIN Cert III and or IV,you will provide individualised residents care and support that enhances our resident's wellbeing. Ensuring delivery of the highest quality of care, while maintaining an optimal level of dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life for Residents

Assist in the delivery of the following direct care activities as allocated by Registered Nurse:

- Residents individual personal care
- Repositioning, pressure area and skin care
- Assistance with toileting




- Taking and documenting of patient vital observations
- Change and make up occupied and unoccupied beds
- Report all Residents observation to the appropriate Registered Nurse
- Ensure at all times that the safety of the patient, self, other staff and others is not compromised.
- A demonstrated commitment to observing infection control procedures in all areas of practice.
- Promote and maintain a clean, comfortable and safe setting for residents, staff and visitors

About You

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (literacy skills - reading, writing and comprehension)
- Experience in working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of teamwork and knowledge of team member role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy and patience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Essential for Aged Care and Disability Facilities)
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
- Must be Permanent resident or Citizen
