The Prospect
The HR Advisor is a hands-on HR generalist role responsible for advising on, coordinating, and delivering a broad range of people and culture activities across the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for providing practical HR advice, documentation, coordination and support to the HR Manager and Department Managers while ensuring consistency, compliance and positive employee experiences.
About You
- Strong HR foundations
- Confidence supporting managers
- Sound judgement and escalation awareness
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and rapport with staff
- Capability to step into relief leadership when required
Key Responsibilities
- HR coordination and generalist support across the employee lifecycle
- Employment documentation, contracts and variations
- Performance management coordination and employee relations support
- Policy, procedure and compliance implementation
- Wellbeing, return-to-work and workplace support processes
- HR reporting, audits and continuous improvement
- Act in a relief capacity for the HR Manager, when required.
Must haves
- Certificate IV in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experiences in a HR generalist or HR advisory position
- Current Blue Card Holder or Willingness to apply for Blue Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Cultural Competency would be highly desirable
