Solar Installer / Roofer / TA / UK&Irish; Qualified Electricians Apply!

The Company

We are currently recruiting for a growing electrical and renewable energy contractor delivering commercial electrical, solar, battery storage and EV charging projects across Sydney. The business has secured a major commercial solar project near Sydney Airport in Mascot and is now looking to expand its installation team.

Shift Pattern & Pay

- Standard hours: Monday – Friday 7am - 3:30pm
- $45 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Overtime available: 2 hours each day plus weekends. Work 58 hours per week
- With OT expect $128k-156k + super

The Role

Based on a major commercial project in Mascot, you will work as part of a mixed installation team completing the replacement of a large rooftop solar system.

Your responsibilities will include:





- Safely removing existing solar panels, frames and mounting systems
- Installing new commercial solar mounting systems and panels
- Completing roof penetrations, flashing and sealing while maintaining roof integrity
- Supporting electrical installation and cable-routing works
- Using hand and power tools across a large commercial rooftop
- Working closely with electricians, trade assistants and labourers
- Following protected work procedures and installation standards
- Assisting the team to complete project milestones efficiently
- Working additional weekday and weekend overtime where required

Requirements

- Previous roofing, solar, electrical, HVAC, telecommunications or construction experience
- Working at Heights ticket & White Card
- Drivers Licence
