Civmec is proud to be supporting Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources with a further package of work for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I;) installation works across the facility. As Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone development is driving innovation-and we're building a skilled team to help bring it to life.

The Eneabba facility processes monazite concentrate from Iluka's mineral sands operations, with production having commenced in 2026.

We're currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Construction division on a long-term project. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA's Mid-West.

Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid West Region)
Roster: 2:1 Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) - Bus transport provided to and from Perth

The Role

- Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials




- Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
- Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
- Conduct marking and lining out
- Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
- Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
- Follow quality control systems and techniques

About You

- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- RIIWHS204D or RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
- RIIWHS202D or RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
- Previous experience on construction projects
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP) - Preferred although not mandatory
