About the Role

You’ll learn to take accurate measurements, complete calculations, prepare surfaces, and create vinyl, fabric, screen‑print, digital, and LED signage.

You’ll be trained by experienced, trade‑qualified teachers who maintain strong industry connections, ensuring your learning reflects current practices. Large‑scale training spaces mirror commercial and residential environments, giving you practical, hands‑on experience.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the practical skills and confidence to design, manufacture, and install a wide range of signs using various techniques. Completed as part of an apprenticeship, the course leads to a trade qualification.

- Driver’s licence preferred (but not essential)





Are you ready to

- Be mentored in the craft of signage, printing & designing
- Learn to perform precise measurements & professional surface preparation to ensure flawless installation
- The art of signage lettering, murals, and decorative finishes
- Work with digital tools including vinyl cutting, large‑format printing, and layout software
- Develop your eye for detail, colours, fonts, images and trends

Signwriting offers a hands‑on career that combines craftsmanship, creativity, and design.

Imagine seeing your work displayed across buildings, shopping centres, commercial sites, vehicles, highway billboards, and other structures.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll enjoy variety in your work—designing in the office, wrapping vehicles, and travelling onsite to complete installations.

Initial interviews will be conducted via phone, followed by face‑to‑face interviews.

Only Australian or Recent Zealand Citizens, Australian Permanent Residency holders, and candidates with full working rights in Australia should apply.
