JBS Scone has a fantastic opportunity for a Food Safety Quality Assurance officer. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be part of the frontline team that ensures quality assurance policies/procedures and food safety standards are met.

Ideally this position would suit a candidate that is committed to teamwork, is a hard worker and has a passion for quality.

It is a full-time position working 7.6 hours daily Mon-Fri with in office training provided.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

- Ensures that all monitoring is being performed in accordance with the approved arrangement.
- Ensure product is being produced to specification
- Carry out internal Quality Audits as requested by the FSQAM
- Initiating corrective action plans where required




- Understand and enforce the requirements for each of the SOP’s that are relevant to the certain department e.g. Halal, EU etc
- Assist with the coordination of hold/releases Attend to non-conformances and customer complaints
- Needs to hold a AUS-Meat Beef Specification qualification

About you

- Knowledge of Quality Assurance terminology, policies and regulatory standards
- Organised and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Sound knowledge of computers
- Experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and knowledge of BRC (British Retail Consortium) Standards
