Educational Leader (Diploma or ECT)

The Kindy Garden is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Educational Leader to join our leadership team. We welcome applications from both Diploma qualified educators and Early Childhood Teachers who are passionate about supporting educators to deliver exceptional outcomes for children.

This is a hands on leadership role for someone who enjoys working alongside educators, building their confidence and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

Working closely with the Director, Assistant Director and Room Leaders, you will:

- Lead and support the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework.

- Mentor, coach and inspire educators through regular guidance, feedback and role modelling.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, critical reflection and professional growth.

- Support educators with planning, documentation, observations and meaningful learning experiences.

- Guide the service's Quality Improvement Plan and contribute to Assessment and Rating readiness.

- Ensure curriculum and practice align with the National Quality Standard and National Regulations.





- Mentor and support students and trainees throughout their placements, helping them build confidence, skills and qualified practice.

- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and the wider team.

- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to maintain a positive, supportive and professional culture.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.

- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an early childhood education setting as a qualified educator.

- A strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and National Regulations.

- Experience mentoring or supporting educators to improve their practice.

- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

- A genuine passion for inspiring others and achieving high quality outcomes for children.

- Unrestricted Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Previous experience as an Educational Leader, Room Leader or other leadership position will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
