We’re excited to welcome a full-time Estimator to our friendly Yatala office.
This role is primarily Internal Estimating, with occasional in office customer interaction when working with key accounts. You’ll prepare designs, costings, and estimates for customer enquiries, place orders through our MRP system, and keep customers updated throughout their project.
You’ll also produce AutoCAD drawings for production and prepare accurate quotes based on customer designs and specs. From initial concept to final delivery, you’ll be a key support partner for our customers every step of the way.
Customer Service, efficiency, and quality are vital to this role, and the ideal candidate will excel in all three.

Candidate Requirements
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- A flexible and adaptive nature
- A dynamic individual who can work independently as well as being a good team player
- Good understanding of technical drawings.
- Friendly and approachable, with strong social skills.
- Experience using Laser cutting machines and Press Brakes
- Understanding of TIG and MIG welding processes
- 2+ years of experience within the steel fabrication industry
- AutoCAD knowledge is preferable
- Valuable understanding of common manufacturing methods, including Laser cutting, CNC pressing and general steel fabrication
