Red Rooster is seeking a reliable and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our team on at our Mount Ommaney, QLD location. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during your assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained, and leading our team members to deliver the high-quality experience our customers expect. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part time work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

- Supervising and directing team members during your shift to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards
- Monitoring food preparation, presentation and quality to maintain consistency with Red Rooster's specifications
- Managing customer interactions and resolving any complaints or service issues promptly and professionally
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations throughout your shift
- Handling cash and processing transactions accurately, including managing the till and reconciling payments
- Completing shift reports and communicating any concerns or operational issues to management
- Training and mentoring team members on proper procedures and customer service best practices
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work setting for both staff and customers
- Supporting inventory management and stock rotation as required

What we're looking for

- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a hospitality, food service or retail environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members




- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proven reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shift times
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, or willingness to complete relevant training
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Ability to work independently and make decisions when required
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high service standards
- Preferably, prior experience with Red Rooster or similar quick-service restaurant operations
