Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield. The College was established in 2015 and is enjoying steady growth.
The College is seeking applications from Christian professionals to join our team as a Teacher Aide in our Primary School. There are currently positions available as classroom Teacher Aide and Learning Enrichment Teacher Aide. The classroom Teacher Aide role is available from Term 1 2027 and the Learning Enrichment Teacher Aide is available for an immediate start.
In this role on any given day you will:
Assist teachers and students with teaching and learning activities.
Display respect and empathy for all students, and especially those with additional learning needs.
Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families.
Assist in preparing, storing, making available and clearing away teaching equipment and materials.
Assist teaching staff with playground and bus supervision.
Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships in the college community.
Provide administrative support as required.
Applicants must hold a valid Blue Card or be able to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Applicants must be practising Christians, who are active in their own churches and wholeheartedly subscribe to the College’s Statement of Faith and Staff Code of Conduct, which can be found on our website (https://www.carmichael.qld.edu.au/employment-2/) or obtained from the College.
