As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Residential to become the central point of coordination for our Plumbing Residential Division.

Previous experience within the residential building or construction industry is highly desirable. We're looking for someone who understands residential construction processes, is confident communicating with builders, site supervisors and trades, and can confidently coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with our Operations Manager, Supervisors, Plumbers and Builders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, professionally and on schedule.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills and have the confidence to liaise with builders, site supervisors, tradespeople, suppliers and internal staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

staying ahead of deadlines and ensuring projects are well prepared before work commences on site.

Key Qualifications

- Previous experience in residential construction, project coordination, scheduling or operations (Plumbing is a bonus, but not essential).
- Strong understanding of residential building processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Experience with SimPRO or similar job management software is highly regarded.
- Ability to read construction plans and undertake material take-offs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.

About the Role





The Project Coordinator – Residential plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our Residential Division.

Working closely with our Operations Manager and field teams, you'll coordinate projects from planning through to completion while ensuring builders, clients and internal stakeholders receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities include:

- Acting as the primary point of contact for residential builders and clients.
- Coordinating Plumbing Tradesman & Apprentice schedules and workforce planning.
- Monitoring project progress and assisting with forecasting and reporting.
- Undertaking material take-offs and coordinating material orders.
- Ensuring jobs are fully prepared before site teams commence work.
- Coordinating supplier deliveries and procurement.
- Tracking and managing ITPs, QA documentation and compliance requirements.
- Managing project administration from commencement through to completion.
- Coordinating practical completion documentation and project handovers.
- Preparing and submitting as-built documentation.
- Managing defects, warranty items and project close-out requirements.
- Assisting with process improvement and operational efficiencies.Preparing reports and operational information for management.
- Supporting the Residential Plumbing Division in achieving operational and financial objectives.
