K&J; Civil Pty Ltd is a well-established civil construction company delivering utility infrastructure projects throughout South East Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer / Bookkeeper to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial administration of the business.

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent attention to detail, and is confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Weekly payroll processing
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Month-end financial reporting
- Project costing and profitability reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Customer invoicing and progress claims
- Credit control and debtor management
- General bookkeeping and financial administration




- Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes

About You

- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper role
- Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Experience preparing month-end financial reports
- Project costing or job costing experience
- Strong knowledge of Xero
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A professional, reliable and confidential approach
- Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification
- Civil construction or construction industry experience
