We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join our team. This full-time role is based on a rotating roster of day and night shifts, providing excellent exposure to all areas of our production process.
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine food safety and quality checks across production lines
- Inspect packaging, labelling, weights, temperatures, and hygiene compliance
- Support the implementation of HACCP, GMP, and company quality systems
- Assist with sampling and basic product testing
- Record and report non-conformances and support corrective actions
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Liaise with production teams to uphold quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced workplace
- Resilience and the ability to have those tough conversations
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts as required
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Previous experience in food or meat processing
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety programs
- Knowledge of Australian export regulations (DAFF)
