The opportunity

We’re looking for a Junior Paralegal to join our family law team and work closely with a kind, open and generous lawyer who genuinely enjoys mentoring. This is a role built for someone at the start of their legal career who wants to learn from the best, do meaningful work, and grow into a long-term member of the team. You’ll be supported, challenged in the right ways, and given real responsibility as you develop.

What you’ll be doing

- Supporting family law solicitors with day-to-day file management from opening to close
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading court documents, correspondence and briefs
- Managing electronic files, diarising key dates and keeping matters organised and on track
- Liaising warmly and professionally with clients, courts, barristers and other firms
- Handling filing, e-filing and general administrative support for the team




- Learning the ropes of family law practice with hands‑on guidance every step of the way

What we’re looking for

- Some exposure to family law is a bonus — but we’re genuinely open to recent graduates and those early in their career; we’ll train the right person
- A paralegal, legal studies or law qualification (completed or in progress) is well regarded
- Solid administrative and organisational skills, with sharp attention to detail
- Confident with technology and practice/document software (e.g. Smokeball) — or a quick learner who’s keen to pick it up
- Warm, professional and discreet, with real care for people going through difficult times
- A reliable team player who wants to build something long term with us
