Castle Hill Toyota is seeking a dynamic and motivated Used Car Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team. This is a full-time position based at our dealership in the North West & Hills District of Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service whilst driving sales of quality used vehicles. You will be the face of Castle Hill Toyota, building lasting relationships with customers and helping them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales career within the automotive retail industry.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming customers to the dealership in a warm and professional manner
- Conducting thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and preferences
- Presenting and demonstrating used vehicles that align with customer needs and budget
- Providing detailed product knowledge about vehicle features, specifications, and benefits
- Negotiating sales terms and pricing to close deals whilst maintaining profitability
- Preparing and processing sales documentation accurately and efficiently
- Managing customer follow-up communications to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Maintaining an organised inventory of vehicles and staying updated on current stock
- Achieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Building and maintaining a strong customer database for future opportunities
- Collaborating with finance and administration teams to ensure smooth transaction completion

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Sales Consultant or Sales Representative, preferably within the automotive or retail sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven approach




- Knowledge of the automotive industry and used vehicle market is advantageous
- Ability to work independently whilst thriving in a team environment
- High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection positively
- Genuine passion for customer service and satisfaction
- Professional presentation and appearance
- Reliability and punctuality
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or dealership software is preferred
