Giraffe Early Learning Centre Warringah is a Childcare Centre licensed for 150 children, providing a welcoming, safe and high-quality care environment for children birth to school age. We are looking for a cook who will provide high-quality meals to our children and join our supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking nutritious meals for children. We are looking for a friendly and talented cook to join our team If you have experience cooking for children aged 0 to 6 years in a child care centre we would love to hear from you.

Meals that need to be prepared include the following:

- Morning & afternoon tea
- Lunch
- Food safety and handling qualifications
- A minimum Certificate in Commercial Cookery




- A current Working With Children Check
- Experience cooking in childcare centres
- Effectively manage the kitchen, order stock, plan all menu's and prepare nutritious meals for the week from scratch.
- Sound understanding of allergies and preparing alternative meals
- Creative ideas around cooking for children!

- A brand current centre and state of the art kitchen
- Opportunity to get creative - planning all menu's
- A supportive management team that respects and values its staff
- 38 hours between 7am-4pm from Mon to Fri
