Zoomwave Constructions is a growing construction company with a strong reputation for delivering complex FRP and high-rise construction projects. With several major projects underway and more opportunities ahead, we are looking for a practical, motivated and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our construction operations team.

This is not a desk-only engineering role. You will work directly with carpenters, supervisors, project teams and operational crews on site to improve productivity, workflow efficiency and project delivery outcomes.

We are seeking someone who enjoys being close to the work, understands how construction teams operate, and can use industrial engineering principles to identify practical improvements in labour utilisation, material flow, sequencing, equipment usage and overall site performance.

About the Position

In this role, you will support project delivery by analysing how work is performed on site and helping our teams improve the way labour, materials, equipment and time are used.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working alongside carpenters, supervisors and operational crews to improve workflow efficiency on site




- Analysing labour utilisation, construction activities and site productivity
- Identifying practical improvements to reduce downtime, waste, double handling and rework
- Supporting the optimisation of material handling, equipment usage and crew allocation
- Monitoring production outputs and reporting operational performance to project management
- Coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors and engineers to maintain workflow continuity
- Tracking labour productivity, cycle times and operational performance metrics
- Preparing reports, dashboards and productivity summaries using Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools

Skills and Training

- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, operations, process improvement or productivity analysis preferred
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both site crews and project management
- Experience using Power BI or other reporting tools preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced site environment
- Knowledge of FRP, formwork, jumpform or high-rise construction advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
