About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Piling Rig Operator to join a well-established civil construction contractor delivering a diverse range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across Sydney.

Working with a skilled and supportive team, you will be responsible for operating piling rigs safely and efficiently while contributing to the successful delivery of complex ground engineering projects. Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate bored and CFA piling rigs on active construction sites.
- Set up and position piling equipment in accordance with project requirements.
- Drill piles to specified depths, diameters and tolerances.
- Complete daily pre‑start inspections and perform routine maintenance and basic servicing of plant and equipment.
- Assist with reinforcement cage installation, concrete pours and associated piling activities.
- Work closely with engineers, surveyors, supervisors and site crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications and site instructions.




- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
- Comply with all company policies, site procedures and WHS regulations.

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience operating bored and/or CFA piling rigs.
- Previous experience working on residential, commercial or civil construction projects.
- Current White Card.
- Relevant plant operating tickets and/or High Risk Work Licences.
- Strong understanding of piling techniques, site set‑out procedures and construction safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out basic servicing and maintenance of equipment.
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
