Deliver a project that makes a real difference An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale Digital Health initiative that will transform healthcare services across Queensland.
This project will deliver a new statewide approach to implementing an integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) across Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug (MHAOD) services. Working alongside senior executives, clinicians, technical teams and external vendors, you'll play a key role in delivering one of Australia's most significant digital health transformation programs.
About the Role Reporting to the Program Director, you will take ownership of complex ICT projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for:

- Leading the delivery of large, complex ICT and Digital Health projects.
- Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets and reporting.
- Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and governance.
- Building strong relationships with executive stakeholders, clinicians, vendors and technical teams.
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Driving business change and supporting organisational adoption.
- Ensuring project delivery aligns with recognised project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Monitoring project performance and reporting progress to senior leadership.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Project Manager who enjoys working in complex enterprise environments.
You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale ICT or Digital Transformation projects.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at executive level.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, budgets and project resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong risk, governance and reporting experience.
- Experience applying structured project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent.

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience delivering Digital Health, Electronic Medical Record (EMR/ieMR) or healthcare technology projects.
- Experience working within large government or highly regulated environments.
- Formal Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or similar).
