Hotgas is a proudly family-owned and operated LPG supplier servicing the Sunshine Coast, Hinterland and Gympie regions. We've been independently operating since 1990 and are committed to providing reliable local service while building a supportive, hardworking team culture.

Due to an unexpected employee absence, we are seeking a reliable and hands-on Dock Operator / Yard Hand to join our Operations Team on a fixed-term casual contract, commencing immediately.

This role offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday). It is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a well-supported role with a respected local business, with the potential for ongoing employment for the right person, depending on future business needs.

About the Role

This is a practical, hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of our loading dock and depot operations. The role is predominantly based at our Yandina depot and is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, following established processes and being part of a close-knit operations team.

Your duties will include:

- LPG cylinder filling and stock management
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Cylinder inspection, maintenance and preparation
- Forklift and plant operation
- Loading dock organisation and housekeeping
- General depot and workshop maintenance
- Assisting the delivery team when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace

Essential Requirements

- Current manual driver's licence
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks

Desirable

- MR licence
- Previous warehouse, yard, transport or delivery experience
- Experience working with LPG or Dangerous Goods (advantageous but not essential)
