Talent Right is proud to partner with TigerPak to recruit a Regional Business Development Manager to support the company's continued expansion across Western NSW covering a territory surrounding Orange, Bathurst, Aubury, Dubbo regions. This is a field-based business development role focused on identifying new customers, growing existing accounts, and developing long-term customer relationships across an established territory with high growth potential. You'll spend most of your time meeting customers face-to-face, understanding their operations, and identifying opportunities to support their packaging requirements.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for a defined territory covering the Central West NSW, you'll be on the road daily, visiting a combination of existing customers and new prospects while managing and growing an established customer portfolio. The Sydney office is based in Marsden Park however you only need to attend the office twice monthly for team meetings, the rest of the time you will be solo operating in the field. This is a hunter-focused role with a strong emphasis on current business development. Success comes from asking the right questions, understanding customer pain points, and building relationships with warehouse managers, purchasing officers and other operational decision-makers. You'll be responsible for appointment scheduling, sales presentations and quoting for new prospects, while also working on customer engagement and business growth within your existing portfolio. Daily travel by car is an essential part of this role and occasion regional flights will be required and overnight stays weekly or bi‑weekly so a commitment to being "on the road" is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across your assigned territory
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct around 5 - 8 appointments each day (depending on the travel distance).
- Identify customer requirements through face‑to‑face meetings and warehouse visits.
- Prepare pricing for customer quotations.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and agreed KPIs.
- Review and action sales reports.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Attend sales and departmental meetings as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- A genuine hunter who enjoys developing new business.
- Comfortable building relationships with warehouse managers, purchasing officers and operational decision-makers.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- A strong communicator with professional presentation and telephone etiquette.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Experienced in sales (minimum 3-5 years). Industry experience within packaging is not essential, candidates with experience selling into warehouse or industrial environments, regardless of product, are encouraged to apply.
