Your purpose and opportunity
Reporting to the Production Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the warehouse, inventory, and procurement responsibilities in an organisation experiencing strong growth, with a global supplier and customer base.
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will have a strong understanding of dispatching and receiving of orders, packing of goods, creation of shipping and customs documents, consumables procurement, maintaining of the organisation and cleanliness in the warehouse.
No day is the same at Reach Robotics as our products consist of complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You will be working alongside highly specialised engineers and technicians. Supervised training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall organisation of the warehouse;
- Manage the receiving of goods that will be stored in the warehouse;
- Manage the picking & dispatching of goods;
- Prepare shipping, customs and export documents for domestic and international shipments;
- Ensure accuracy and completion of orders prior to shipment;
- Pack goods and generate packing lists;
- Reconcile goods (storage, picking, packing);
- Use Inventory Management software;
- Ensure inventory control, maintain relevant documentation and reconcile discrepancies.
- Applications without full working rights will be ignored;
- A good team player with a positive and proactive attitude;
- Highly organised, agile and possessing great time management skills;
- A sound understanding of logistic processes and export/import regulations;
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product;
- Ability to meet and establish deadlines;
- Experience in identifying and prioritising areas for improvement and take actions;
- Experience with inventory management and/or ERP systems;
- Relevant qualification or industry experience;
- Experience working with Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement principles;
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility similar operational environment;
- Other previous relevant experience.
