Job Type: Permanent - Part Time - (Ideally Monday and Wednesdays) Location: Lismore

About the Role:

- Work as part of a agile team to provide reactive and planned preventive maintenance
- Work to establish best practice and maintain homes to the highest standard
- Working in a Busy team environment with no day the same
- Working alongside contractors where relevant, ensuring all work carried out to compliance requirements
- Carrying out General maintenance and repairs; this may include patching & painting, replacing globes and all aspects of basic building maintenance
- Ensuring all paperwork, documentation and system processes are adhered to
- Gardening: Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas.



Create an inviting atmosphere through landscaping

Preferred Attributes:

- Previous experience in a maintenance role, aged care preferable but not necessary
- Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail & excellent communication skills
- A current NSW driver's license
- Computer skills
- Ability to interact with the elderly residents on a day to day basis

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
