Role Overview:

As the Maintenance Handyperson, you will be a dynamic team member who performs various maintenance duties around the cluster of The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane to ensure the hotels are efficiently maintained. This role requires that all duties are conducted in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, ensuring that there is a consistent high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Carry out all tasks, guided by the Work Request System and Preventative Maintenance Program
- Clean and maintain plant rooms/workshop in proper condition.




- Work on a rotating shift as directed
- Carry out and administrate the Rooms Inspection program as per hotel Standards
- Carry out duties as directed by Chief Engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor
- Communicate to the Chief engineer/ Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis about allocated jobs
- Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, productive service either personally or through effective communication with other associates

About You:

- Proven experience in Engineering/Maintenance Operations, in a similar position within a multi-disciplinary organisation
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- Hands-on attitude and strong willingness to learn
- High attention-to-detail
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
