Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company that designs and builds specialised heavy vehicles and industrial equipment?
360 Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter/ Turner to join a busy workshop based in Narangba. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a reputable Australian manufacturer, working on the assembly, installation and maintenance of specialised transport and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and fitting of specialised heavy vehicles and industrial equipment
- Install hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Install pumps, valves, motors and associated equipment
- Fault find and carry out mechanical repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean,
organised and safe workshop
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and engineering teams to meet production deadlines
About You
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Previous experience in manufacturing, heavy engineering or industrial workshop environments
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Desirable
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Dogging or Rigging Licence
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, trailers or transport equipment
- Experience within fabrication or engineering workshop environments
