Our client is an International congress of Catholic sisters ( nuns) who are based in the corporate National Health HQ in Sydney's Inner city . This role is part of the energetic and committed National Health and Wellbeing team. Established rich culture and history and offering holistic support , this Congress is a respected, community provider of charity and spiritual support to those who are most in need. We are seeking a motivated and committed RN to provide hands on care support to all Congress sisters in Sydney ensuring all procedures and compliance are followed.

About the Current Role

Complex aged programmes for all members of the religious order ( sisters)

Providing care services to the sisters and keeping health records

Hands on holistic care

Accompany sisters to medical appointments

Social support

Mobility appointments for sisters including family visits, errands, days out,

Ability to travel to sisters based in Sydney Metro area

We are currently seeking to appoint a permanent part time RN to join this large national team of Community Coordinatorsworking on local programmes in inhome,



nursing home and residential aged care facilities. The role is 10 hours per week and you will work two 5 hour days. Extra shifts and on call are available.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting hands on support, working within compliance and support plans to meet the needs of the sisters. They will also liaise with other health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams in order to meet service delivery goals.

Critical to the success of this role is the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people with the focus on service and ensuring our participants comfort and dignity.

You will be driving approximately 50-60km per week and will be in Ryde, Eastwood, Marsfield, Glebe, Baulkham Hills, Blacktown, Merrylands , Croydon and Ashfield areas so confidence on the road with reliable vehicle, car insurance and current license essential. You will be reimbursed with a car allowance covering all costs.

Ideal Experiences and Qualifications

Experienced EN or RN

Minimum of 3- 5 years experience in an acute care environment

Ability to work independently with effective communication, initiative, problem solving and time management skills

Australian Permanent Resident

Current Australian Drivers License

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Ideally a Certificate in Aged Care

Own insured vehicle

As a permanent member of staff you will qualify for excellent above average salary, annual and sick leave entitlements plus 12% superannuation plus 17.5% leave loading.
