We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technical Director to join our team, working across a broad range of corporate AV projects and events.

Responsibilities will include technical leadership, quality control, and delivery of AV components across a large range of our projects. Tasks will also include resource planning, client liaison, technical support, and team leadership.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- -providing technical leadership and quality control across a broad range of AV projects
- -liaising directly with clients and venues to scope technical requirements
- -producing technical floor plans, systems schematics, and production schedules
- -overseeing crewing, equipment allocation, and cross-hire arrangements
- -conducting technician briefings and on-site supervision of set-ups, operation, and bump-outs
- -mentoring and upskilling technicians through training and performance monitoring
- -troubleshooting technical issues on-site and providing rapid solutions
- -managing relationships with equipment suppliers and subcontractors





The successful candidate will possess:

- -minimum 7 years’ experience in live event AV, including in a leadership capacity
- -robust technical knowledge across audio, video, and lighting disciplines
- -Video – experience with streaming and switching systems preferred
- -Lighting – GrandMA experience preferred
- -proven ability to lead and mentor technical crews
- -exemplary grooming, presentation, and enthusiasm
- -excellent time management and organisational skills
- -previous experience in a corporate AV or in‑house environment highly regarded
- -Rentman knowledge an advantage
- -Vectorworks or CAD capabilities essential
- -current driver’s license and own reliable transport

This position requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Adaptability and sound problem-solving skills are essential.
