An exciting opportunity is available for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in PVC pipe and plastic extrusion products based in Geebung.

This is a hands-on role working across extrusion and packing lines, producing high-quality plastic piping used across construction and infrastructure projects. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience looking to develop their skills within a supportive, safety-focused workplace.

Duties

- Operate extrusion and packing lines safely and efficiently
- Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes
- Conduct quality checks, including temperature, diameter and product finish
- Record production and quality data accurately
- Pack, strap and label finished products to specification
- Operate forklifts and side-loaders to move raw materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure work environment
- Report equipment faults and assist with basic troubleshooting




- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience

- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production or machine operation
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic faults
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling (up to 25kg)
- Reliable with a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Able to work a rotating day, afternoon and night shift roster
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
