Stepping Stones Children's Services – Ulverstone TAS
Stepping Stones is seeking a full-time trainee early childhood educator for our Stepping Stones Children's Centre in West Ulverstone. Located on the beautiful north west coast of Tasmania, our 37 place centre provides education and care for children from birth to 5 years of age.
What you'll be doing
Work alongside a team of educators to provide a high-quality, play-based educational program aligned with relevant EYLF frameworks
Support best practice across all quality areas.
Help to create a learning environment that nurtures children's natural curiosity.
Foster positive relationships with our families and the wider community
Be a passionate advocate for children's health and safety
Make a positive contribution to our centre workplace by actively participating in staff meetings, professional development and team building activities.
What we're looking for
Current Working with Vulnerable People registration
A willingness to undertake a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and a culture of learning
A strong commitment to all aspects of child safety, including child protection, mandatory reporting and adopting the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations inclusive of the Tasmanian Child Safe Standards
