We're a family-owned and run building business with a strong reputation across South East Queensland, and we're looking for a Construction Estimator to join our growing team.

You’ll be estimating and tendering across a genuinely wide-ranging mix of residential projects, helping us win the right jobs and set them up for success from the start. If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, a head for numbers, and enjoy the challenge of a tight tender deadline, you’ll fit right in.

The Work

- Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Attend site meetings for tender opportunities
- Review and interpret tender documents, and respond to all requirements
- Prepare detailed scopes of work and tender response documents
- Prepare comprehensive estimates within required timeframes
- Liaise with trades and suppliers to confirm accurate costings and timeframes
- Prepare Bills of Quantities upon award of tender
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Assist with project scheduling and management as required

About You

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the Brisbane region
- Sound understanding of the tender process and a track record of successful submissions
- Understanding of local construction standards and codes
- Proven ability to produce accurate building cost estimates
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Competent PC skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
- A professional manner, both in person and on the phone
