Working with children check NDIS worker screening check, Will train suitable applicants
Have previous experience in a similar role with solid understanding of the NDIS and individual support
First Aid is desirable.
Previous complex Personal care Skills desirable.
Possess excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Infection control certificate.
Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident
Trustworthy, adaptable and committed to Disability care
Current NSW driving license
Tasks & responsibilities
Supporting with daily living tasks, personal care, PEG feeding, Bowel care and urinary catheter support.
In home community care from client's house to house.
Supported independent Living house shifts 24-hour Care needed for some Participants.
Able to start early mornings from 6.30am
Implementing positive behavior support strategies to manage complex behaviors.
Supporting clients in achieving there NDIS goals.
Attending appointments, social activities and recreational activities.
Maintaining documentation of support and progress.
Ensuring a safe, respectful environment in line with Exceed Care policies and procedures.
