Maintenance & Grounds Officer – Aged Care Facility

We are seeking a skilledMaintenance & Grounds Officerwho is committed to maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repair work.

Location: Trinder Park Aged Care, Woodridge - QLDRole Type: Full Time | Monday to Friday
Remuneration:$28.32 – $29.45 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits

About The Role:In this hands‑on role, you’ll manage the day‑to‑day maintenance of buildings, gardens, and grounds, ensuring everything is safe, tidy, and well‑kept.
Key responsibilities include:

- General maintenance and upkeep of lawns, gardens, and common areas
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and external cleaning
- Identifying and reporting new risks while working to minimise existing ones.
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
- Managing external contractors and minor building projects
- Using equipment and materials safely and responsibly
- Your work will help maintain a protected and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Gardening experience essential; aged care experience desirable

About You:

- Experience in commercial maintenance and groundskeeping within an aged care setting or a similar environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail




- Ability to follow safety procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
- A team player with a proactive attitude,proven ability to demonstrate a customer service focus.
- ValidPolice Checkand/orNDIS Worker Screening Clearance(or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid open Queensland Driver’s Licence
