Due to continued growth and the award of new projects on Sydney's Northern Beaches, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team.
Excavator Operator – Civil Construction

About the Role
Working as part of our civil construction crews, you will be involved in the installation of water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure on major civil projects throughout Sydney's Northern Beaches. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and enjoys being part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators ranging from 5 to 30 tonnes in accordance with site and safety requirements.
- Carry out trenching, detailed excavation, backfilling and pipe laying support.
- Work around existing underground services safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic plant maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors,
pipe crews and other site personnel to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
Requirements
- Construction White Card (essential).
- Verification of Competency (VOC) for Excavator operation.
- Demonstrated experience operating 5-30 tonne excavators on civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience working around live underground services.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and protected work practices.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
- Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous).
