This is a great opportunity for a talented commercial litigator (3-5 PQE) to join an award-winning boutique firm with a progressive, client-focused approach to legal practice. The role offers exposure to varied, engaging and high-quality matters, including commercial litigation, media and defamation law, employment, insurance disputes and other complex disputes.
You will be working closely with experienced practitioners and will be involved in a broad range of litigation matters from the early stages through to resolution. The work will be varied and will include contractual disputes, advisory work, pre-litigation strategy, pleadings, evidence preparation, interlocutory applications, mediation and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare advice across a range of litigation matters
Correspondence, affidavits, witness statements, briefs to counsel and court documents
Assist with the management of matters from commencement through to settlement, mediation, hearing or trial
Work directly with clients, counsel, and expert witnesses
Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, commercial and client-focused solutions
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing and supportive team environment
