We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Aged or Disabled Carer / Disability Support Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.

Support clients with mobility, transfers and the use of mobility equipment.

Prepare meals and assist clients with eating where required.

Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and general household tasks.

Assist clients with shopping, appointments, transport and community activities.

Support clients to develop and maintain independence in their daily lives.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Follow individual care plans,



NDIS plans and behaviour support strategies.

Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report any changes or concerns.

Maintain accurate shift notes, incident reports and client records.

Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other support professionals.

Follow workplace health and safety, infection control and safeguarding procedures.

Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services or a related field.

At least 12 months of relevant experience supporting people with disability, older people or individuals requiring personal care.

Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Current Working with Vulnerable People registration.

Access to a reliable and insured vehicle.

Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Valuable communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills.

A compassionate, respectful and person-centred approach.
