At BAI Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the applications that underpin essential services remain robust, reliable and fit for the future.

As Manager, Enterprise Applications,



you’ll lead a portfolio of business-critical platforms across Operations, Property and Critical Communications. Partnering closely with business leaders, technical specialists and external suppliers, you’ll drive application strategy, enhancement roadmaps and operational excellence while leading a small team of talented professionals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to blend people leadership, stakeholder engagement, solution delivery and hands‑on application management within an organisation that helps keep Australia connected.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery, enhancement and operational management of enterprise applications across the full solution lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain application roadmaps, backlogs and maintenance plans aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology innovation.
- Drive the analysis, design and implementation of new application features and enhancements.
- Manage relationships with vendors, delivery partners and internal technology teams.
- Oversee application budgets, forecasts, licensing requirements and service performance.
- Ensure solutions are fit for purpose through effective testing,



quality assurance and operational readiness.
- Lead the resolution of application issues and maintain a secure and secure production environment.
- Champion agile delivery practices, continuous improvement and effective change management.
- Build team capability through coaching, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Support information security objectives and ensure compliance with governance and operational standards.

You'll bring:

Technical Skills & Experience

- Experience managing enterprise application portfolios and delivering business-critical technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy or similar enterprise systems.
- Understanding of service management frameworks and operational support models.
- Experience leading application enhancement programs and coordinating cross-functional delivery teams.
- Capability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into practical technology outcomes.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies across agile and traditional environments.
- Knowledge of systems integration concepts and enterprise application ecosystems.
