About the role

Looking to get off the tools without leaving the industry?

Remarkable Reno is looking for an experienced tradesperson to join our team as a Site Assessor.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong trade background who enjoys meeting people, solving problems and using their knowledge to help clients, rather than spending every day on the tools.

You’ll spend most of your time visiting properties across Brisbane, assessing maintenance and repair work, gathering the information required for quoting, meeting with property managers, owners and tenants, and ensuring jobs are ready to be delivered.

When required, you’ll also jump in and assist our trade team on larger or more technical jobs, helping keep projects moving and maintaining our quality standards.

What you'll be doing

- Attend residential and investment properties to inspect maintenance and repair work
- Collect measurements, photos and all information required for accurate quoting
- Identify defects and recommend practical repair solutions
- Meet with property managers, owners and tenants on site
- Prepare clear scopes of work for our estimating team
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Support our trades with technical advice and problem solving
- Assist our trade team on-site during busy periods or when required
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Help improve systems, quality and efficiency across the business





What we're looking for

- Qualified in a relevant trade (carpentry preferred, however all trades are encouraged to apply)
- Experience in residential maintenance, renovations or construction
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients and property managers
- Professional presentation and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own day
- Happy to assess work and jump on the tools when required
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Own vehicle preferred
- Comfortable using phones, tablets and job management apps
- Reliable, organised and motivated
- Australian work rights
