Location: Eastern Creek, NSW
Days: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 1:00am – 8:30am
Pay Rate: $34.35/hr (training) increasing to $36.48/hr (after sign-off)

Our business partner, a proudly Australian-owned organisation, is a leader in supply chain management and logistics solutions for the food industry. Based in Eastern Creek, they deliver innovative and cost-effective logistics systems that ensure fresh produce reaches customers efficiently and on time.

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Receiving Leading Hand to join the Fresh Division, specialising in fruit, vegetables, and floral products. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

The Role
As the Receiving Leading Hand, you will oversee the daily receival of fresh produce, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with food safety standards. You will work closely with suppliers, drivers, and the produce buying team to ensure products meet company and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and check all inbound fresh produce daily
- Verify product quality and quantities against orders and invoices
- Uphold HACCP and food safety standards (training provided)
- Unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (forklift licence advantageous but not essential)




- Liaise with the produce buying team regarding quality acceptance or returns
- Raise and manage non-conformance reports
- Organise the receiving area, manage docks and drivers, and prioritise daily tasks

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to lead in a busy setting.

What You’ll Need:

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills (email, Excel, Word – training provided)
- Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Experience with EPJ or pallet jacks (training provided)
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own reliable transport (due to early start times)

Shift Details and Training

- Days: Sunday to Thursday
- Hours: 1:00am – 8:30am
- Training period: 3–4 weeks with an experienced trainer
- Pay: $34.35/hr during training, increasing to $36.48/hr after sign-off
- Overtime: Available during busy periods (Christmas, Easter, long weekends)
