We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand market share across Queensland. Based in Brisbane, you will be responsible for developing newbusiness opportunities while strengthening relationships with existingcustomers throughout your territory.

This role focuses on promoting our range of premium plasteringcompounds, accessories and plastering tools to distributors, trade merchants,builders, contractors and plastering professionals. You will work closely withinternal sales, customer service and marketing teams to identify growthopportunities, execute strategic sales plans and deliver exceptional customerservice.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, gross profit and market share targets.
- Identify and secure current business opportunities throughout Queensland.
- Build strong relationships with plastering contractors, distributors, builders, developers and trade customers.
- Grow sales within existing accounts through regular customer engagement and account management.
- Conduct product demonstrations, customer presentations and technical training sessions.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements within company guidelines.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends, providing regular feedback to management.
- Work closely with marketing to support product launches, promotions, trade events and industry exhibitions.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, pipeline updates and sales forecasts using the company CRM.
- Ensure customer enquiries and issues are resolved promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Travel throughout Queensland as required.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Development or Territory Sales.
- Experience within construction materials, building products, manufacturing or trade wholesale is highly regarded.
- Experience in the plasterboard, plastering, rendering or construction industry is advantageous.
- Proven ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative national sales team.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
