Clinical Reliability Improvement Facilitator

As a Clinical Reliability Improvement Facilitator, you will lead projects, audits, and improvement initiatives that deliver lasting benefits for patients, staff, and the community.

Where you'll be working

Clinical Governance and Patient Experience Unit, NSLHD, Royal North Shore Campus.

What you'll be doing

In this senior role, you will apply advanced clinical knowledge, analytical expertise, and project management skills to design and deliver district-wide improvement programs, clinical audits, and strategic projects on behalf of NSLHD, NSW Health, and the Clinical Excellence Commission. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, providing expert advice on complex clinical and health system issues while fostering a positive safety culture and supporting the organisation's commitment to clinical governance, staff engagement, workplace health and safety, and continuous improvement.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- A tertiary qualification in a clinical health discipline (e.g. undergraduate degree in medicine, nursing or allied health discipline) and/or extensive experience working in a clinical role within the public health sector.
- Understanding of patient safety and health care quality programs and an understanding of project management and change management.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching and an understanding of the principles of adult learning and the relevance of evidence based practice.
