This role will take over our existing finance, payroll and reporting processes, and set them up for our systems that drive our long term objectives.

We are looking for someone to join the Brisbane head office of our nationwide operation. This role reports to the CFO and works closely with them and the broader business. Success in this role will open doors to future leadership progression.

About the role:

Preparing journals, statements, and financial reports





ERP system implementation and maintenance

Finance management for projects, maintaining records of project costs, reconciling against budgets, and flagging and investigating discrepancies

Manage the preparation, issuance and receipt of customer invoices. Aligning this with contracts and job progress, and ensuring payment is made

Complete payroll and staff reimbursement processing and payments

Reviewing and authorising payments, supporting positive relationships with suppliers

Complete other ad hoc financial duties

Contribute to business improvements through a continuous improvement mindset

About you:

Proven experience in accounting roles (end-to-end exposure preferred)

Strong understanding of AP & AR, project costing, and reconciliations

Relevant qualifications and/or certifications

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Confident working across multiple systems

Comfortable following up internally and externally

Proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused
