We are seeking an enthusiastic Rubbish Removal Driver/Labourer to join our team at The Rubbish Taxi. This casual position is responsible for efficiently and safely transporting and disposing of waste and recycling materials for our customers in the local area.
What you'll be doing
- Driving a rubbish removal truck to collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of waste and recyclables
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
- Providing excellent customer service and following safety protocols at all times
- Adhering to all relevant environmental regulations and disposal requirements
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely service delivery
What we're looking for
- A valid C class driver's licence and experience operating light commercial vehicles
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of waste management and recycling best practices
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to scheduling
- A minimum of 3-5 years of manual driving experience is required
- Previous experience in rubbish removal or demolition is preferred but not essential
