A PLUS AGENCY is currently recruiting for a qualified Pastry Cook for our client Banjo's Bakery Cafe.

Banjo's Bakery Cafe is located inBundamba,Queensland! Founded in Tasmania in 1984, Banjo's Bakery Cafe has grown from a single local bakery into a beloved national icon with over 50 stores across Australia. Despite our growth, we remain deeply rooted in people first culture.

Banjo's is looking for our next pastry superstar. You will join a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen team crafting Australia's favourite sweet treats, danishes, donuts, and iconic savoury pies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production & Preparation: Mixing, kneading, moulding, and baking a variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, buns, and biscuits.
- Fillings & Finishing: Preparing specialized fillings, custards, glazes, and decorating products.
- Quality & Safety: Checking raw materials, operating machinery (mixers, dividers), monitoring oven temperatures,



and maintaining strict food safety/hygiene standards.
- Station Management: Cleaning, greasing, and maintaining baking equipment and ingredient inventory

Requirements

- Relevant baking/ pastry making experience of 1 to 3 years
- OR AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training
- Strong knowledge of baking methods and dough and pastry preparation
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow recipes and workplace procedures
