We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and coordinate international purchasing and logistics operations. This role involves working closely with overseas suppliers, particularly in China, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, stock, and customer communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international shipping procedures and basic accounting principles, especially relating to debtor accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Place orders on and manage orders with Chinese factories.
- Monitor order progress and maintain accurate stock level records.
- Update factory pricing and customer sale prices in the system.
- Track customer sales and promotional activities.
- Process customer orders and receipt stock into the accounting system.
- Liaise directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve queries.
- Communicate with shipping companies to coordinate international freight.
- Understand and manage international shipping documentation and timelines.
- Assist with debtor account reconciliation and related accounting tasks.




- Work closely with the Managing Director on operational and strategic matters.

Qualifications & Experience

- Prior experience in import/export operations, logistics, or supply chain administration.
- Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation.
- Basic accounting knowledge, particularly in managing debtor accounts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with Chinese suppliers or international vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/inventory software.
- Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to process improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
